Laugh Out Loud

Wendy and I took advantage on not having any kids around and met for a movie and dinner after work. We drove north to the AMC Megaplex at Potomac Mills. It has 15 theaters, great seats and only stadium seating. It is worth the extra-buck for a movie to be more comfortable. We saw Wedding Crashers and it was great. We laughed out loud the whole time. They did a good thing in making it “R”, sometimes you need a good raunchy “R” rated movie. After the movie we went up to Macaroni Grill for dinner. We did get home in time to watch Rock Star: Inxs. It is a quality reality show that has great rock performances by the contestants.

The funny story of the day is the dogs and cats eating at Taco Bell. We have an old neighbor’s daughter staying with us this week for a couple of nights as she works at a volleyball camp at the local high school. She came home with Taco Bell take out, placed it on the counter and let the dogs up. As she was letting the dogs up one of the cats ran down into the basement and she ran down quick to get it. She said she was down stairs for less than 30 sec. When she cam back up the stairs her bag was gone. There was a taco on the floor and two of the cats were eating it. Then she went into the dog room/living room and saw Mattie with her nose in the bag. When Mattie lifted her head out of the bag she had lettuce hanging out the side of her mouth. So she made herself a sandwich. We owe her dinner tonight.
