Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

A sigh of relief as the holiday season comes to a completion. We left on Friday the 30th to go to Butler, PA to spend New Years weekend with Wendy’s parents and rendezvous with the boys. They had been up there since the 27th. Wendy and I had to work during the week so they went up to spend some time with Papap. The New Years weekend was nice. We had a gathering of family from Wendy’s Mother’s side of the family. It was almost 40 people and that group had not all been together for sometime. Wendy and I also stopped by at Phantom Fire Works on the way up to pick up some pyrotechnics for the evening. The store is amazing and way to easy to drop big money if you are not careful. We picked up a nice assortment and had a nice little show.

We left Butler on Monday and got home fine with a short stop at the outlets in Leesburg, Va. Getting to the outlet was a nice drive, even in the rain, of some Virginia Horse country. Everyone is back in school, work and playing basketball.

Seems we have a prospective adoptive family for snoopy. They are coming tomorrow to meet him. He will probably be adopted by the weekend. He was fun to have around but I think Haus and Mattie are ready for some lazy days without a young pup biting at their heels. While we were gone he had a house/pet sitter for the dogs. During that time, I guess snoopy was messing with Mattie and she attacked. The lady looked in the back yard and Mattie had Snoop on his back. When Snoopy came in he had a nice inch gouge in his back. Ya never mess with the resident bitch.
