The last time we saw our characters they were about to
embark on a mission to meet the Griffin’s in DC. I actually just walked to the
hotel they were staying from my office and Wendy, Ayden and Alyanna drove
up. It is always great to see the
Griffins, the kids were great fun and Cindy and Curtis are swell folks. Alyanna was a trooper.
The weekend was beginning of last week was normal hustle and
bustle. Wendy and I did go out to an open house in King George, not for us but fun to look around.
Wendy and I took a mid-summer break Thur and did an
overnight at the Inn at Willow Grove. We
took advantage of a midweek specials and because occupancy was almost zero they
gave us a suite for under $200. It was a
great place, with great staff and we had a very nice dinner there as well. In the morning we went for a hike and lunch
at The Market At Grelen. Then took a
tour of Montpelier. We capped the day
off by meeting Ayden at the movies to see Bad Mom’s (very funny).
Tristan got home on Fri after 4 weeks of working V-Tech
summer orientation. He really had a good
time and had many stories, movies and pictures to share. I will try to get some links to stuff (one link
is below and has little bio on him). He
is now home for two weeks before going be to be a counselor at one of the Hokie
Camps (link below). He and Wendy just
left yesterday for Tampa, Wendy had a business trip down there so he is tagging
along.
