All remains at a medium pace in Afghanistan without much to report. Everyday is pretty busy based on all the reposturing based on the withdrawal and our work to support the Afghan Army and Police in their preparations for the elections in April. The boys got back to school today working towards the half way in the school year around mid January. Then it is the last term for Ayden in middle school and last term for Tristan in high school. All of Tristan's college applications are in order of preference 1) Princeton, 2) Cornell, 3) Virginia Tech, 4) James Madison. I think we will know by mid March. Tristan did apply to Princeton early decision and they deferred him, so believe he provides his midterm grades and then they throw is package into the rest of the applicants. We shall see.
Getting some pictures from home. Mostly of Mr. Ayden...In a new Pats shirt, butchering a deer in Paps garage and out to dinner with Wendy for New Years Eve.
