My trip to Nevada was great. The high desert in the winter is amazing. The desert contrasted by the snow topped mountains is impressive and foreign to us east coasters.
Wendy and I went to a nice Valentines Dinner on the 15th, a day late to avoid the rush. It was at Bistro Bethem and great as always.
We went to the St. Joe’s game at the University of Richmond on Saturday. They pulled out a 3 point win to the joy of Curtis. Curtis is Cindy’s (St. Joe’s Coach) husband and a victory means a happier wife for him until the next game. It is a lot of fun to watch how involved he is in each position and referee call all while chasing their 2 and 5 year old daughters.
We have a relatively mellow week as we head to next weeks travels. Wendy and the boys will leave Monday night for Picatinny, NJ where Wendy has a meeting on Tuesday. They will stay over Tuesday night and then head to Salisbury CT to spend a night with Curtis and Meg. Then on Thursday they will head to Burke Mountain for our ski trip. I have a meeting in Atlanta on Wed and Thurs and will fly out Thursday afternoon to Manchester, NH to get picked up by someone coming from the Cape on the way to Burke.
