We started off from Salisbury to New London CT. It was a nice scenic drive through the middle of Conneticut. We had a good tour of the Coast Guard Academy. It is very similar to structure of the Naval Academy. The grounds were nice and we also checked out Conneticut College accross the street where GiGi went. Devyn was not blown away excited about the Coast Guard Academy, but it was a good exposure about post high school options.
After our tour we headed off to Newport RI to see Beth and Fred and their kids. Beth and Fred lived behind us in Camp Lejeune, NC and are Ayden's god parents. Fred is in Newport going to the Naval War College. We went out to dinner and too a drive through the Newport mansions.
We left Newport and headed off the Cape arriving at about 9pm.
