I got nottin' to report. It is the winter doldrums and things are just puttin' along.
We are still moving slow after the Pats loss. Its hard to even talk about it. With so many amazing games this season, the last game just puttered out. When I say we are still recovering it is only Ayden and I. Ayden probably had the worst of it, as he has been waving the Pats flag high all year in the neighborhood, at school, at church youth group. He caught quite the face full of other team fans josting him, not to mention the next door neighbor girl who was a big Giants fan. Interesting thing about northern virginia is not a lot of naitives here, so the fans are pretty deverse in "their" teams.
Ayden's basketball team won their first game of the season. The league he is playing allows teams to stay together. We did not have one of those teams so we were on the misfits team. It had great kids, with great hearts, but their skills are way behind everyone else. Our team has some aggressive defense but scoring it tough. So this win was great for everyone. It was actually the first game of the playoffs (all teams get in), so this has extended the season for a bit.
Tristan is doing well. He is busy trying to pick classes for next year. He is thinking of a couple of AP classes that have summer assignments. I asked it that would be too much for the summer and he said he did not mind. Ikes... He is not doing much else than TV and homework...but grades are good, so what to do.
Devyn is close to graduating, maybe two weeks. We have been to see the navy recuirter and now just need the diploma to finish the process. Fingers crossed.
No pictures today, sorry.

The kids seem to each be doing their "thing" successfully so for the season of the winter doldrums, you can't ask for anything more.Good for you.
