Kids outside a compoundGettin' Short as they call it here at DII (Delaram II). There is the Delaram District Center which is just north of us, Delaram I which is an Afghan Army Base on the other side of highway 1 and then where we all are DII. I have been here not doing much traveling (other than going out to the District Center). I have been making sure that the powerpoint slides are tight, construction projects are on schedule and situation reports are in on time, but all from the office. Only 554 hours to go.
