Ayden's soccer season is going well and we have three games left. I have a good group of kids to coach, but it still is mostly about hurding cats. I just try to have more energy than them and get them slightly adjusted to what they need to do rather than what they want to do. The biggest challenge during games is getting them to stop kicking the dirt into clouds. Our field we play on for game is not in the best of shape and some of the worn down spots are all dirt. I have a couple that would rather kick dirt than chase the ball, but with a little turn and slight shove I get them moving again.
