Wendy had tryouts this weekend for a girls 14 and 15 year-old basketball team she has been asked to coach and take to France this summer for two weeks. I think the folks involved with the City of Fredericksburg and their sister city Frejus in France liked her. She had a great time when she went two summers ago and is looking forward to going back. She had tryouts Sat. evening and Sunday morning and picked a team of 10 with 2 alternates from the 20+ girls that were there.
The great dane puppy we have is still waiting for a home. We are pretty sure friends of ours are going to take him, but they are still awaiting a home inspection and are getting more and more frustrated as they wait. He is very little trouble for us now. We took him out of the cage during the day and now he runs with the other dogs in the back yard and basement during the day. This creates a tired puppy that only wants to sleep when we get home.
Devyn and Tristan got their report cards. Devyn got honor roll and Tristan missed by one C. Tristan is struggling to stay interested in school this year, while Devyn seems to be really enjoying himself. That is the opposite of what it was last year and I imagine it will change again soon. Ayden is doing fine and staying above the curve with very little problems at school.
